Budo club Genbu-kai was founded in Helsinki (FIN) in 1979 by Soshi Yuji Matsuoi (although at first under another name). The current name, Genbu-kai, the club has had since 1985. Genbu-kai’s dojo is located at Helsinki down town, at Sörnäinen area.

Three different styles of martial arts are practised at our club:

1. 1.Kokusai Shorinjiryu karatedo & Kokusai Ryukyu kobujutsu
   

2. 2.Muso Jikiden Eishinryu iaiheiho
   

3. 3.Mugen Ryū Heihō
   

Head instructor of Genbu-kai is Soshi Yuji Matsuoi (8. dan hanshi).
